Well, the Spring Mini catalogue is nearing its end and so that means, no more Season of Joy soon:(
This is a card I made the other week after I had stamped the Season of Joy image, layered it with Real Red and Old Olive and then not used it. So, I grabbed out my Dashing DSP to finish off the stamped image and put this card together in 10 mins. The Real Red wide striped grosgrain finishes it off.

Email me today if you want to place an order from the Spring Mini Catalogue. Hurry! It ends on 30 November!

This is one of the cards we made at a Christmas Stamp-a-Stack class the other night. It was a great card to make because I provided a few different stamp sets i.e. Season of Joy, Snowflake Spot and Snow Flurries and everyone could tailer their bauble and have five different cards, albeit the same colour and layout. And a touch of Dazzling Diamonds made the bauble sparkle!

This was the other card we made (which I have posted earlier) but the card below, instead of a bow, I used a Styled Silver hodgepodge buckle … and a rhinestone brad. I really love the buckle … everyone had the chance to add one buckle to one of their cards on the night!

If you would like to make some Christmas cards why not book a night with me (asap!) or book to come along to my house on Friday 5 December 2008.

This is a card that I made because I had to play with the new jumbo wheel I bought, Nursery Letters. I know a few people with babies due early next year, so I need to stockpile a few of these cards! I also used the Level 2 Hostess stamp set, Cause for Celebration.
The colours are Soft Sky and Barely Banana … I think Barely Banana makes a great baby card! And I added on a metal edge tag from Stampin’ Up!. I’m really liking the metal edged tags … they add great dimension to a card!

Well, I’m off to Canberra this weekend to visit the family and this is the birthday card I’ve made for my step-mum. I hope she likes it!

This card was the first chance I had to use my Big Bold Birthday stamp set but I was restricted on colours at the time … so although I’ve used Wild Wasabi, next time I would prefer Regal Rose! hehe! Anyway, I had a chance to use my marker pens to have the ‘make a wish’ fit in the silver hodgepodge frame, so that was fun! And I know my step-mum likes burgundy … so Bravo Burgundy should go down a treat!
Remember, you can purchase the marker pens individually for $4.95 only until the end of this month!

This month there are two great promotions from Stampin’ Up! Both promotions run until 30 November 2008, so if you’re interested in the promotions you must hurry.

The first promotion is just awesome! For a while, demonstrators and customers have been asking Stampin’ Up! to sell the Stampin’ Write markers individually. Well, Stampin’ Up! have listened!! Only until the end of this month you can purchase single Stampin’ Write markers for $4.95 (plus P&H) without purchasing the entire family pack.
You can see more information here.
My Christmas card at the top of this post has been made by stamping my Season of Joy stamp into Bashful Blue ink and then colouring in the rubber using my marker pens, Handsome Hunter, Night of Navy and Brocade Blue … and stamping with my Stamp-a-ma-jig onto Whisper White card stock. So simple and easy! The ‘Wish Big’ from Short and Sweet with some ribbon and hodgepodge finish it off.

On the second promotion, when you spend $20 on regular catalogue merchandise, you qualify to purchase any Rub-ons at 20% off ($15.96 per package; regularly $19.95).
You can see more information here.
Remember, these promotions end 30 November, so hurry and place your order today!
