This is a card I made for my gorgeous cousin’s daughter last year. I just love this card – it’s one of my favourites!
I’ve used the colours Shimmery White, Perfect Plum and Crumb Cake.
Then I’ve used the Big Shot lots – I started with the Elegant Lines embossing folder for the Whisper White background, then I used the Designer Frames embossing folder for the sentiment. The sentiment was stamped from the now retired Occasional Quotes and punched out with the Large Oval punch and and layered with the Extra-Large Oval punch. Intead of ribbon, I’ve used the Tasteful Trim Big XL die (love this die!). Lastly, I used the Beautiful Wings embosslits die for the stunning butterflies with Perfect Plum Subtles Collection Patterns DSP paper stack.
This is a close up of the sentiment and if you look closely you can see that I’ve stamped the layers behind the sentiment with the ever-so pretty Elizabeth stamp stamped in Crumb Cake ink.
Oh, you know, I totally forgot the other reason I’ve been amiss in posting on my blog – we sold our house and moved around Eastertime this year, lol!! It’s amazing how time flies when you’re busy 🙂
This is another card we made for my Cancer fundraiser. I love this card!!!
The colours are Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake and Regal Rose. We stamped Pocket Silhouettes in these colours on the Whisper White card stock and we also stamped tone-on-tone with Regal Rose on Regal Rose on the background paper. The sentiment was stamped from the Level 3 hostess stamp set Occasional Quotes in Regal Rose ink.
The gorgeous butterflies are from the Beautiful Wings embosslits dies and, of course, had to have a few Rhinestone jewels added for bling!
This is the last of the wedding cards I made for my lovely friend soon-to-be-bride.
I’ve used the same colours as before – So Saffron, Brushed Gold and Very Vanilla. I stamped the En Francais in Gold ink – but stamped off to make the colour lighter. Then I stamped the Medallion in Versamark ink and covered it with clear embossing powder. I heated the powder so it melted and once that was finished, I sponged So Saffron ink around the Medallion to make it pop out – also known as the technique of emboss resist.
For the sentiment, SNEEK PEEK I used a new Level 3 Hostess stamp set, Occasional Quotes, and used my So Saffron marker to colour and stamp only the “thank you”. I punched the Brushed Gold cardstock with the scallop edge punch and paper pierced a strip of So Saffron cardstock with my mat pack. A few pearls (non-SU) finished it off.
