This is a card entirely inspired by Karen at Live, Laugh and Stamp here. I’m a huge fan of Karen’s style, she adds a simple elegance to all her cards that I admire. Please check out her blog, I’m sure you’ll be inspired too!
For this card I used the colours Green Galore, Bashful Blue and So Saffron and Rose Red. And I had to use textured Whisper White as well. The stamp set is Hello Again with the butterfly and Occasions for All for the sentiment. I’ve used my 1-1/4″ circle punch for the circles.
When making the card in the previous post, I couldn’t decide between circle punches or square punches. As you know, I chose circle punches for the previous card. So, then I decided to use up the square punches left over. This is what I came up with.
Again, I used the stamp sets, Hello Again and Occasions for All. And again, I used textured cardstock for the Basic Black and Real Red. I did add a dash of Pink Passion under the scallop squares. It just peeks through, which I love! And I love the Clips Assortment, added at the top with a touch of black gingham ribbon and Real Red grosgrain ribbon. Time to buy more Clips Assortment for me, I’ve used them all up.
I thought this would make a great card for my hubby, but now he’s seen it, so I might have to make him a different one!
Last week, Jo had her team’s usual holiday get together at her house. All we had to do was bring along a “card in a box” and a part of the yummy lunch we enjoyed. So this was my “card in a box”. We made 6 cards each on the day (not including our own) and had 7 kids running around and playing, so nicely together, around us. It was a lovely day!
For this card I used the stamp set Hello Again, available in the Summer Mini, and also the Hostess Level 2 stamp set, Occasions for All. The colours are, naturally, white, black and red! And although you can’t see it in the picture, the white and black card stock is textured.
This card was made for another very special little girl who turned five last month 🙂
I really love this card. The colours are pretty and the elephant is adorable! I was completely inspired to make it from a gorgeous card on SCS, which you can check out here.
The colours I’ve used are Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss. The paper is Riding Hood Red and the DSP from the Simply Scrappin Kit, Sweet Nothings. What a useful Scrappin kit Sweet Nothings is! Of course, you already knew it, but I’ll say it anyway, the elephant is from Wild About You :), and what you may not know is that the sentiment is from the Level 2 Hostess Set, Occasions for All.
The party hat was a useful idea I came up with … cutting a triangle from my Sticky Cut Letters adhesive and adhering Fine Supernova Glitter on the party hat topped with a Circle Fire rhinestone brad – and three of the same brads on the top left corner of the card.
On the weekend we went to a great birthday party for my dear friend, Michele, and her (middle) daughter, Emily. Emily wanted her birthday at the park and despite the rainy Sydney weather on the weekend, there was a pocket of sunshine that was like a special halo over Emily’s park and her party. So everyone had a lovely time!
This is the birthday card I made for Emily, using the stamp sets Wild About You, Occasions for All (Hostess set) and Best Friends Numbers (retired). I added a little piece of Bella Rose DSP, some Designer Buttons (Button Bouquet), some Riding Hood Red ribbon plus a Build-a-Brad. The colours are Pink Pirouette, Riding Hood Red, Tempting Turquoise and Certainly Celery.
My card was inspired by this card on SCS here. Gorgeous card, isn’t it?
