So I’m a little late with the Sale-a-bration cards, but I did make a few! I’ll pop them up over the next few days.
This is a card I made for one of my daughter’s best friends at school. Weren’t the Sale-a-bration colours and stamps fantastic this year? It’s so easy to make an amazing card with beautiful tools 🙂
For this card, I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP, the stripes and the flowers on the butterfly.
I used the Big Shot to cut the big butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die and the little butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die. And the Simple Numbers Bigz Die for the number 7. Plus I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder on the bottom strip of Whisper White paper.
I added the Pool Party ruffled ribbon and was more than pleasantly surprised at how PRETTY this ribbon really is. I love it!
And what little girl’s card wouldn’t be complete without some Rhinestone jewels?
This was a card I made last year when I first played with stamp set Delicate Doilies. I just love this stamp set!
To make this card I stamped the images from Delicate Doilies in Crumb Cake, Soft Suede and Wisteria Wonder first before I put the paper through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder in the Big Shot. I sponged the edges of all but the bottom strip of Very Vanilla with Soft Suede ink including the strip of Very Vanilla punched with the Lace Ribbon border punch and the strip of Wisteria Wonder (also stamped with Delicate Doilies in Soft Suede) which has been cut with Tasteful Trim Bigz XL die with the Big Shot.
The sentiment was stamped using the stamp set Bring on the Cake.
I made this card for my old neighbours. They had a beautiful baby girl earlier this year!
I used the colours Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery and Whisper White. The Baby Tees jumbo wheel is so cute! I rolled it in Staz On black ink on watercolour paper and then cut it out and coloured it in using my aqua painter and ink pads.
Of course, the embossed dots are made using the Big Shot and the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. And the sentiment comes from the stamp set Well Scripted.
This is another Pony Party card I made last year for one of my daughter’s friends.
For this card, I used the cardstock Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Concord Crush and Whisper White. This time I sponged the background sky in Concord Crush and the grass in Pear Pizzazz, but I cut out the pony after I had coloured her in with my marker pens and ink pads. Isn’t this the cutest eva pony?
The Pink Pirouette cardstock was rolled through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments in Regal Rose ink and sponged with Concord Crush – a few Rhinestones under the sentiment, layered over cardstock punched using my Scallop Oval punch and Large Oval punch, and the sentiment was done!
I wanted to make sure Cath had a few different cards similar to the cards she had originally pointed out as her favourites. So the next invitation was based on this card – a card she’d also picked out. It’s quite different, and I altered the card to suit her colours, as you can see:
I kept the “Together Forever” from the stamp set Together Forever (retired) and I kept the square from Baroque Motifs, layering it with vellum and added a few more pearls. Love pearls!
I had to get a little creative with the ribbon on this card, as I was on my last threads of white taffeta and needed to order more!!
But what I loved about this card the most was the Shimmer paper embossed with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder using the Big Shot. It really adds a class to this mock invitation. And as it wasn’t chosen, I think this card will make a beautiful wedding card for a friend in the future 🙂
Tomorrow, you can see the wedding invitation that is the final inspiration …
