FREE card & scrap night – Friday 28 March 2008

Have you seen, or do you own, either of these two cards?

Bloomin with Happiness

Fun Filled

If you have, it means you have either been one of my hostesses or you have been to a workshop party where I have demonstrated, as these have been my demonstration cards which I give to my hostesses. So! I must now ask you … have you made anything with your Stampin’ Up! purchases?  Well, if the answer is no to this question, then it is time you dedicated some time to create … it is time to make time for YOU!

I am having a FREE card & scrap night on Friday 28 March 2008 from 8.00pm (the Friday night after Easter) for any of my hostesses, customers or friends (or your friends) who are interested in coming along. It will be a night to work on your own creations.  You simply need to bring along your own cardstock, adhesives, embellishments etc and any of your latest purchases you haven’t yet used. You are welcome to also use any of my stamp sets, ink pads or punches, if you like. I will supply a seat, some lollies (to help with creative inspiration!) and coffee/tea/cold drinks. Book some time in your diary for YOU now and come along. Bookings essential (simply so I can organise table space for everyone).

I’m planning on this night becoming a monthly or bi-monthly stamp & scrap night, so if you can’t make it this month, subscribe to my blog today and you’ll get an update in your Inbox when I update my blog for next month (the last Friday of the month is a possibility).

Slot a place in your diary for YOU now … you deserve it.

Hope to see you there!

Virtual card making

It was another cyberstamp night on Wednesday night. I love them! Our first challenge for the night was the spotlight technique. I used my gorgeous Time Well Spent stamp set that Stampin’ Up! gave all SU demonstrators for their Christmas present last year. I like this technique!

Spotlight technique

The second card was made knowing that a beautiful baby girl had been born on Tuesday, Evie Jane Foote. So, now all I have to do is buy a gift. The card was our sketch challenge for the night. I’m really loving the colour Rose Red at the moment!

Don’t you love the butterfly? It’s from the Merci stamp set which is in our Sale-A-Bration catalogue right now. If you spend $100 before 29 February 2008 you too could earn the Merci stamp set and this gorgeous butterfly for FREE.

I still have to make up my third challenge … a colour challenge. So watch this space and I’ll post that card after I make it tonight.

Thank you cards for my hostesses …

The afternoon sun has distorted the colour of these cards slightly, so my apologies. If I waited until tomorrow morning to take the photos, I don’t think this post would go to air!

These are a few cards I am sending to my hostesses holding workshops for me in the near future. I’ve been having fun with my ‘Simply Said’ Stampin’ Up! stamp set. Enjoy!

Simply Said Thank you

I also used my trusty Spring Flowers punch for this card.

Simply Said Thank you

I added some of our Flirty ribbon here from the current Summer Mini Catalogue.

Simply Said Thank you

This is a ‘cased’ card from Jayne Mercer (thx!). I think this is a great card to make and take because you have a chance to play with the Stampin’ Up! jumbo wheel, use a white gel pen, add some ribbon and even paper pierce some decorative corners to add dimension. What do you think? I’d like to try this card with Perfect Plum and Pale Plum too …

Bud Basics Thank You

This is such an easy card to make! A Bud Basics card too, instead of Simply Said.  I have only used 2 stamp sets, 3 ink pads and whisper white cardstock … whala! (oh, and my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig!)

Simply Said Thank you

This card was the last make and take for all my guests at my Sale-A-Bration Launch party last week. My own original design completely! Remember, you too can take advantage of the great Sale-A-Bration promotion with me … you just have to place an order with me (and pay before) that is $100 or more 29 February 2008. No limits on the number of sets you can earn for FREE, every $100 spent earns you 1 FREE Sale-A-Bration set!! Contact me today 🙂
