More Pony Party

This is another Pony Party card I made last year for one of my daughter’s friends.

For this card, I used the cardstock Regal Rose, Pink Pirouette, Concord Crush and Whisper White.  This time I sponged the background sky in Concord Crush and the grass in Pear Pizzazz, but I cut out the pony after I had coloured her in with my marker pens and ink pads.  Isn’t this the cutest eva pony?

The Pink Pirouette cardstock was rolled through my Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.  I stamped the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Sentiments in Regal Rose ink and sponged with Concord Crush – a few Rhinestones under the sentiment, layered over cardstock punched using my Scallop Oval punch and Large Oval punch, and the sentiment was done!

Vintage Wallpaper Wedding Place Name Cards

There is a little more to tell of Cath and Steve’s wedding, besides the waterfall of torrential rain that flooded their bridal table just as they were about to be seated or the fire alarm that interrupted the start of the speeches and couldn’t be turned off until the firemen arrived to flick the ‘off’ switch.  All true.  Trust Canberra to provide a delicious wedding memory.

But, there are a couple more cards.  Today, I’ve posted the place name cards I made for all the guests.  Again, I used Basic Grey cardstock and Whisper White embossed with the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, by now the signature of Cath and Steve’s wedding invitations.  I added a pearl to the centre of the embossed design, and a touch of Pink Pirouette and Baroque Motifs to one corner.

I printed all names on vellum paper and then punched them out using the Scallop Oval punch and I attached each name with Mini Glue dots – perfect because of their transparency.

Well, the honeymoon is over and it’s back to work soon for the bridal couple, but I still have one more card from the wedding to show you.  Check back tomorrow!

Top Note purse

There are lots of these cute boxes floating around the net, but this is the first one I’ve made.  And I made quite a few because they were one of my free gifts for my guests to my Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue launch, a couple went to my daughter’s school as gifts for the Mother’s Day stall, and one was a gift to my cousin for hosting a stamp-a-stack.

I made the box using Melon Mambo cardstock, which was embossed using the Big Shot with Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and then cut out with the Top Note Die.  The sentiment comes from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and was stamped in Melon Mambo.  I punched a large oval from the leftover of the polka dot Melon Mambo cardstock and layered it onto Pink Pirouette textured cardstock, punched from the Scallop Oval punch.  I finished off the box with a pink rhinestone brad and Pink Pirouette grosgrain ribbon.

Christmas Triangle Box

Here is a simple Christmas triangle box I made last year.  I love the elegance of Real Red and Whisper White together!

I stamped the swirl from Spotlight on Christmas in Whisper White craft ink.  The countdown to Christmas stamp is also from Spotlight on Christmas.  And the Scallop Oval punch really finishes off this stamp with a lovely white border.

Bella Rose Purse

It was my sister’s birthday on the 17th (just gone) and I had made this purse for her gift.  Lee lives on the Gold Coast, so she doesn’t see us very often and I thought a couple of pictures of us would be nice for her to have.  So I spied this bag on the net made by Gretchen Barron (thanks for the super inspiration!!) and I then altered the measurements of the purse to fit my photos.  The purse, or handbag, was perfect for my sister as she loves bags!

I used textured cardstock for the entire card, except for the Bella Rose Designer Series Paper and the thin panels on the inside of the purse.  The paper colours are Basic Black, Pink Pirouette and Whisper White.

The stamp set I used is a Rose is a Rose and it was stamped using Pink Pirouette, Rose Red, Old Olive and Kiwi Kiss.  The coordinating wheel, Bella’s Border was used on the thin panels.  Of course, the coordinating Pink Pirouette striped grosgrain ribbon worked perfectly for the handle and the Kiwi Kiss satin ribbon on the front of the purse coordinated with the rose leaves inside the purse.

The Eyelet Border punch helped layer the photos and decorate the front of the purse.  Plus, the other punches I used to layer the two sentiments to the purse were the Scallop Circle, Designer Label, Large Oval,  Oval and Scallop Oval.

The sentiment stamp sets I used were Sincere Salutations and Short & Sweet.  A rhinestone brad and Pink Flower Designer brad helped decorate the sentiments.  And, for the final decorations, on the front of the purse I used a Button Bouquet Designer Button and a gorgeous Stampin’ Up! clip at the top of the purse.  And I paper pierced the strip of Textured Pink Pirouette cardstock.
