Forever Young Thank You card

Here is another Forever Young card. I borrowed the stamp set from a friend, Christie Wallace (you can check out Christie’s amazing creations here), and had a play with it – lucky me!

This card also uses the embossing technique.  I stamped in versamark and then heated black embossing powder over the image.  The colours I’ve used are Whisper White, Basic Black, Basic Gray and the Neutrals Collection of the Patterns DSP Stack.

The sentiment is stamped from the stamp set Curly Cute which fits perfectly in the Extra-Large Oval Punch and is layered with the Decorative Label punch.  There is a touch of SU Basic Black satin ribbon and, of course, a gorgeous Vintage brad to finish the card off.

Thanks for looking 🙂

Medallion make-and-take

This is the last make-and-take card my guests made at my Autumn/Winter Mini Catalogue launch party.

The card is made with the colours Taken With Teal, Regal Rose, and Close to Cocoa.  Don’t you love these colours together? I know, I do!  I stamped the Medallion in Versamark ink and then popped the colour with my pastels – I love this soft effect!

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments, which is stamped on Whisper White in Taken With Teal and layered on a the Curvy Label punch, cut in half and sponged in Taken With Teal.  Naturally, the card is finished off with Dazzling Diamonds and a rhinestone brad!

Another take …

This is the same layout I used for my Dad’s birthday card, except I’ve used the flowers from Sticky Cut Letters and added a stem with Three Little Words (using my Old Olive marker pen).

I adore the Fine Supernova Glitter … these two colours are a big WOW for me!

The sentiment comes from Short & Sweet and I’ve used the new scalloped oval punch, which will be available from 1 August in the upcoming Spring Mini Catalogue.

Live Your Dream thank you card

My cousin came over yesterday so our girls could have a play day.  And we had a lovely day!  The girls made cards (while my youngest slept and my toddler was meant to sleep) and then we had a go at making cards when all the kids went outside to play for a while.  I already had card precut in Bashful Blue, Barely Banana and Certainly Celery, so we just used what we had and put cards together.  This is the card I made, using the stamp set Live Your Dream in the Summer Mini Catalogue.

I masked the circle and then stamped my images using Almost Amethyst for the flower and Barely Banana for the butterflies.  I sponged Certainly Celery over the top of the stamped images.  I then cut out the butterflies and added two FIRE rhinestone brads.  A simple ‘thank you’ from Short & Sweet, a little paper piercing – and the card is done!  Here is a close up:

Remember, now is the best time to buy your favourite Stampin’ Up! products because, when you spend $100, you get to pick a limited FREE Sale-a-bration stamp set!  But time is running out … Sale-a-bration ends at the end of February.  So hurry up!  Email me today!

Elegant Priceless

Isn’t this a lovely card? It was sent to me from one of my party hostesses and I love it! I love the colour combination of Sahara Sand, Soft Sky and Purely Pomegranate. And the paper piercing and tearing effect at the bottom of the card are so clever. Trudy even used the Rock n’ Roll technique on the flower!  Now I’m inspired to get out my Priceless stamp set and play with it!

Thank you, Trudy!
