Only 4 days left … including today!

It is hard to believe that we are almost at the end of February … but there are only 4 days of February left and that means only 4 days left of Sale-a-Bration!

Are you often wondering what you could make with a particular stamp set? Well, this is one idea of what you could do with the Sale-a-Bration stamp set, Congrats. I’ve made this card into a card for my sister-in-law for her graduation. I’ve also used Boho Backgrounds for the handbags and have embossed them using Versamark and Wild Wasabi. Such a simple card … and made so much easier with Stampin’ Up!’s square punches.

This is a close up of the embossing and the red rhinestone brad …

I also paper pierced the dots under the word “congratulations”.

Here is another embossed handbag card (I think they’ll be a really popular birthday card theme for me this year!!) … again using Boho Backgrounds on the handbags … and the sentiment is from In the Stars, available in our current Summer Mini. I’ve used more rhinestone brads on this card …

and, of course, a close up of those gorgeous brads …

Come visit again tomorrow and I’ll post some more ideas for another Sale-a-bration stamp set. If you don’t have any Sale-a-bration stamp sets yet, then you’ll need to place an order with me of $100 or more before the end of the month to pick your own!

Thanks for looking 🙂

Christmas Stamp-a-Stack

Can you believe it is only 6 weeks until Christmas? It is time to believe!

These are a couple of cards I made the other night with my good friend, Michele. Now, I’m sure I’ve seen this design somewhere else, but try as I might, a search of SCS and the web has not uncovered a design owner. So, if it is your design, please let me know! And thank you for the inspiration!

This is a really simple card to make (it had to be simple, it was a late night!). We used the So Swirly jumbo wheel and then the little poinsettia stamp from Season of Joy. The greeting is from the versatile Short & Sweet stamp set.

Remember, the Spring Mini Catalogue finishes at the end of this month i.e. 30 November 2008. So if you like Season of Joy … contact me now!

I tried out two different colours to see which I liked more … and I tried out gold brads and silver eyelets, again to see which I liked more. This is the Wild Wasabi and Purely Pomegranate card with silver eyelets …

And this is the Wild Wasabi and Real Red card with gold brads …

I will use this card in a couple of Stamp-a-Stacks I have booked this month. If you were to participate in a Stamp-a-Stack, which card would you prefer to make? The Real Red and gold brads or the Purely Pomegranate and Silver eyelets? Let me know.

And if you are interested in making some hand made cards for Christmas, why not book a Stamp-a-Stack with me? You make 10 cards of 2 different designs and enjoy some fun with friends! There are only evenings left in my calendar, so let me know soon to book a date. You will need to live within a reasonable distance of Parklea, Sydney, Australia, that’s all! Then you too could make 5 of these cards!

Thanks for looking 🙂

Season of joy make and take

This is the second make and take card my guests made at my Spring Mini Launch party.  I wanted a simpler card to make so my guests weren’t leaving at midnight and having to get up for work the next day.  I know most still had to get up for work the next day (including children!) but this time the last guest left by 11.00pm, so the “simpler” plan worked.

This card is made with the stamp set Season of Joy and the colours Real Red and Wild Wasabi.  I wish I had had enough Wild Wasabi stitched grosgrain for my guests to use but Real Red grosgrain was all I had at the time.  A dash of Dazzling Diamonds on the poinsettia gives the dazzle of Christmas!

I cased the card from Splitcoaststampers here.  Thank you!  I love SCS, when I’m short on time, it never fails to provide awesome inspirations!

Thanks for looking 🙂

Priceless Pretties

Do you ever make a card and wonder, I’m not really sure if I like it?  Well, this is that card for me.  I really love the Groovy Guava textured cardstock, my Priceless stamp set and the Pretties kit pearls and flower I’ve added (and touched the flower up with the coordinating colours with my blender pens and ink pads).  But I just am not sure I like the end product.  What do you think?

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

What a night! Free stuff everywhere …

Wow!  I think we all had a great night last night at my New Catalogue Launch Party.  If you came along, what do you think?

These were the three free gifts I made for everyone who came along …

Paperclips

Aren’t these paper clips cute?  They are so easy to make … you simply need to have the Stampin’ Up! 1″1/4″ and 1″3/8″ punches and an image to stamp in the smaller circle punch.  Then you stick together with Stampin’ Up! Dimensionals with some matching ribbon … and there you have it!

2-4-6-8 Box

I love the new Stampin’ Up! In Color – Groovy Guava!  It really looks stunning with Ballet Blue, don’t you think?  The background stamp is the ever popular Scribble jumbo wheel … these were so easy to make with the jumbo ink cartridge for Ballet Blue.  I saved so much time 🙂

I must also thank my awesome upline, Joanna Wassens, for the design behind this box.  One of the great benefits of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator are the fabulous resources you have access to for inspiration.  And Jo’s creation was my inspiration behind this box.  Thanks Jo!

Punch Candy

Do you like the Punch Candy I’ve made?  I adore our new Stampin’ Up! punches … in particular the scallop circle.  It is the best $30.95 I’ve ever spent!  These can be stuck to any project you are working on, be it a card or a scrapbook page.   And this Punch Candy is made using three of the new Stampin’ Up! In Colors … Wild Wasabi, Purely Pomegranate and Groovy Guava.  The paper cut out with the scallop circle punch is the new textured card stock, too.  Oh, it is lovely!

Watch this space and I’ll post the cards we made at the party too …

Would you like to purchase a new punch?  If you would, you could make your own Punch Candy.  Contact me today!  Remember, you can place an order with my from anywhere in Australia 🙂

Have a great day!
