Best Yet punch gift tags

I totally forgot I’d made these!  These little gift tag bags were one of my free gifts at my Sale-a-bration launch earlier this year.

I took an SU cellophane bag and slid a piece of DSP – Bella Bleu – inside.  Then I punched the Word Window punch to make a slit at the top of the bag.  Then the little gift tags went inside and I tied a knot of Very Vanilla grosgrain ribbon at the top.

I based the gift tags on the colours from Bella Bleu. I love Not Quite Navy, Kraft, Sahara Sand and Very Vanilla together!

I love the way Stampin’ Up! punches layer together and look so good! I’ve used a variety of punches for these gift tags, but I made the Scallop Square punch my “unifying” punch on each gift tag.  For the above gift tag I also used the 1 3/4″ Circle and Designer Label punches.

For the above gift tag, I used also the 1 1/4″ Square and 1 3/8″ Square punches.  And, sadly, the stamp set Best Yet will only be available as a hostess set until the end of the month – and then it’s gone!

And for this gift tag, I used the Curvy Label and Wide Oval punches.

Thanks for looking 🙂

Priceless Boho Bag-a-lope

This is the Bag-a-lope we made at my eScape night last night. It is amazing what you can do with a some card stock, a few stamps and an envelope, isn’t it?

We used Pretty in Pink card stock and stamped with Pretty in Pink ink Stampin’ Up!’s Priceless swirly stamp (it’s gorgeous, isn’t it?). Then we stamped Boho Backgrounds twice, once in Pretty in Pink and once in Certainly Celery on Whisper White card stock.

The punches then came out! We used the slit punch for the corners of the Certainly Celery Designer Series Paper (DSP) and the Certainly Celery paper. We then punched out our Boho Backgrounds two stamped images with the 1 inch circle and the 1 3/8 inch circle punches. We layered them on top of the scallop circle punch and there you have it! Pop it all on top of Certainly Celery DSP and Certainly Celery cardstock and we’re almost done 🙂

Of course, except for the top of the bag. We used the corner rounder punch for the scalloped effect and then the word window punch (yes! that’s right!) to make the handle. Pretty cool punching, heh!

And what a great bag-a-lope you can use for a gift bag and coordinate with your card.

If you would like to order any punches, they are a great tool and make card making a breeze! Contact me today to order your new punch. Have a great day!
