Lace Ribbon Christening card

I made this card for one of our dearest friends’ little bubba’s Christening, earlier this year.

The card was entirely inspired by a fellow stamper Donna here.  I’ve used the Framed Tulips embossing folder with the Big Shot to frame the card.  The cross is made using the Lace Ribbon border punch and Silver Glimmer paper and the Rhinestone brad finishes off the centre of the cross which coordinates rather nicely, I think, with the Bashful Blue paper and Shimmery White paper.

Elementary Elegance 18th birthday card

This is a card I made for a gorgeous gal in our family who turned 18 earlier this year.

I know that the key is meant to be for a 21st, but I just had received the Trinket Keys in a recent order, and I couldn’t help use it!  And then, with Sale-a-bration, I also had the stamp set Elementary Elegance, so again, the key theme had to happen!

I stamped the key from Elementary Elegance in Whisper White craft ink on the crumb cake cardstock.  I stamped the frame in the same ink and then heat embossed it with White embossing powder.  I cut out the “18” with the Big Shot and Simple Numbers Bigz Die in Red Glitter paper and also the Scallop Square Duo Bigz Die for the layered background of the “18”.  The Trinket Key is hung from the Red Satin ribbon with Cherry Cobbler Baker’s Twine.

Everyday Enchantment 1st birthday present

This is a card I made for a gorgeous baby boy who turned 1 in Feburary this year.

I was inspired by this card here.  Such a clever idea!  (So easily done with any DSP) And I didn’t really change anything from that card except the type of ribbon, brad and number.

I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP to cut out rectangles for the 3 layers of the present and used the card stock Pool Party, Peach Parfait and Whisper White.  Then I stamped “Celebrate” from Outlined Occasions in Staz On Black and then coloured in using my blender pens and the ink pads Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Peach Parfait and Poppy Parade.  I cut out the number 1 using the Big Shot and Simple Numbers Bigz Die using Silver Glitter paper.

Everyday Enchantment 7th birthday card

So I’m a little late with the Sale-a-bration cards, but I did make a few!  I’ll pop them up over the next few days.

This is a card I made for one of my daughter’s best friends at school.  Weren’t the Sale-a-bration colours and stamps fantastic this year?  It’s so easy to make an amazing card with beautiful tools 🙂

For this card, I used the Everyday Enchantment DSP, the stripes and the flowers on the butterfly.

I used the Big Shot to cut the big butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies Bigz Die and the little butterflies from the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die.  And the Simple Numbers Bigz Die for the number 7.  Plus I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder on the bottom strip of Whisper White paper.

I added the Pool Party ruffled ribbon and was more than pleasantly surprised at how PRETTY this ribbon really is.  I love it!

And what little girl’s card wouldn’t be complete without some Rhinestone jewels?

Forever Young again

This is another Forever Young card, and this time I embossed the lovely tree and girl on Crumb Cake cardstock.

It’s a simple card.  The paper is Crumb Cake, the now retired Newsprint DSP, Basic Black and Very Vanilla.  The wide Basic Black Striped Grosgrain Ribbon is my favourite on this card.  I don’t use this ribbon enough!

The sentiment is from that wonderfully useful stamp set, Teeny Tiny Sentiments.
